Evening Event as part of Girls in Digital Week 2026
As part of EU Code Week and in collaboration with SCRIPT, a special evening event for parents and teachers will take place on 24 March 2026 from 18:30 to 20:30 at Lycée Aline Mayrisch in Luxembourg (38 Bd Pierre Dupong, 1430 Hollerich Luxembourg).
The event is part of Girls in Digital Week (23–27 March 2026), an initiative of the European Commission aimed at encouraging girls to engage with digital and technological fields. Participants can look forward to a varied programme held in English.
The evening will begin with an introduction by WIDE ANDCO, the National Hub of EU Code Week. Afterwards, Zoe Philpott from Philpott Design will present an artistic performance and talk connecting technology, creativity, identity and inclusion.
Next, LIST will introduce the GSTEAM community of practice and present collaborative approaches for gender-sensitive STEAM education.
The event will conclude with small-group discussions where parents and teachers will exchange views on the challenges and opportunities for girls in the digital field. The aim is to strengthen the dialogue between schools and families and to develop ideas for more inclusive digital education.
