Teachino: New AI assistant for teachers and improved AI feedback for pupils
To mark the start of the new school year, Teachino is expanding its platform to include an AI assistant for lesson planning, personalised AI feedback and integration with WebUntis.
Teachino is an AI platform that enables teachers to plan lessons, create and deliver materials, and support pupils in their learning. An overview of the key new and improved features:
- Direct integration with WebUntis: Courses, timetable data and pupil data are imported from WebUntis. Further information can be found in the guide to setting up the WebUntis integration (link to external site in German).
- Preparing lessons with AI: The new AI assistant helps teachers plan lessons, create materials and manage to-do lists – via text or voice input.
- Enable targeted feedback: The improved AI feedback provides pupils with personalised feedback on their answers, guidance on the learning objective and specific next steps. Optionally, it also takes spelling and grammar into account.
- Offer a variety of tasks: Pupils can complete fill-in-the-blank exercises and matching tasks, as well as submit files, photos or audio recordings. Handwritten answers can be automatically converted into digital text.
- Flexible lesson planning: The revamped lesson planning feature is based on the timetables from WebUntis. If a lesson is cancelled, several planned activities can be rescheduled together.
- Monitoring learning progress: In the new ‘Learning Progress’ overview, teachers can share materials with individual pupils, view their progress and provide personalised feedback. Grades can be recorded in the ‘Assessments’ view.
- Reusing existing materials: Teachers can digitise existing worksheets, organise materials into collections and share them with colleagues.
